Day 6 – A visit to Stone Town and its intricate doors.

Time to see historic Stone Town with its striking architecture. This morning, we will leave Zuri for a private guided tour of Stone Town. Amongst the bustling alleyways, you will visit the House of Wonders, a palace built in the 1880s that has since housed the headquarters of the colonial administration, a school and finally, a museum. We will also learn more about the island's tainted history as a slave and ivory trading capital. This evening, we will set sail for a sunset cruise in a traditional wooden dhow. A very special way to end our journey on this fascinating island. Lunch and dinner are on your own, so you’ll have a chance to explore and try some local delicacies.
